Brian was raised near Detroit, Michigan. He played football for The University of Michigan, then moved to NYC to pursue acting, where he performed Off-Broadway and landed roles in film and TV.
Brian became a produced playwright when Jeff Daniels’ theater, The Purple Rose, developed and produced a full equity run of his first play, “When The Lights Come On”, about his experiences in the world of college football. His newest play, “Smart Move,” will also play at The Purple Rose in late 2016.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Brian has appeared in multiple stage shows (including Neil McGowan’s latest play) and over two dozen TV shows. His best known work to date is on ABC’s hit show, Scandal, recurring in over 30 episodes as agent Tom Larson.
